スクリプト(空所アリ)
One day not long ago, 118 of my ( 1 ) students wore jeans to my class. The ( 2 ) of 7 also owned jeans, but just did not happen to be wearing them. It would be hard to imagine another cultural products --- movies, TV programs, records --- as popular as jeans. Students may not be typical of the population as a whole, but jeans are widely popular among non-students in the same age group, and only slightly less so in older groups. Thinking about jeans would seem to be as good a way as any to think about ( 3 ) culture.
